James's Story

Life Following high school I received a BA from Albion College in Michigan, and a MDiv from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. While there I met and married Carolyn Nuttall from Muskegon, MI. During this time I moved to Iowa, and served churches in rural communities until...Expand for more
an appointment in Des Moines. I am currently (since 1982) a campus minister at Drake University in Des Moines. Carolyn and I have three grown children, all married, and seven grandchildren. We enjoy gardening, travel, music (I direct a youth choir of 40 voices), canoeing, and quiet.
