James's Story
Life
I am married and have three sons. I am an Engineering Manager with General Motors Corp. working in a foundry in Michigan where we make engine blocks and heads, and I am a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserves where I command a joint unit consisting of Army, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard personnel.
I am the Field Force Representative for Admissions for Michigan Congressional Districts 5 and 10 for the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. What does that mean, I work with young ...Expand for more
men and women from the state in preparing their file, interview, and test them to gain admissions to West Point. For the ones that have what it takes, I present them their appointment for admissions at their Senior Awards Day. I do all of this for free. It my way of giving back.
I tutor young people and help them prepare for their ACT and SAT to enter the college of their choice.
The rest of my time I spent with my family and supporting their interests, Church, and my fraternity of Freemasonry, PHA.
