James's Story
Life
I still reside in Lewistown. I'm married to Betty Hamler for 64 years. We have four children. We have grand children and great grand children too many to count! I'm retired from Pennsylvania Electric Co. where I worked for thirty nine years. Betty retired from Mellon Bank after twenty one years of work. We attend Trinity United Methodist Church. I am a member of the church choir and Betty has been in charge of the fund raising committee for our church. We spend time with our kids and grand kids for family meals and lots of laught...Expand for more

We drove to California in 1965 to visit our son Jim who was then in the Navy. Our daughter, Sharon lives in Harrisburg, Pa. and is a psychotherapist. Our sons Rick and Rob dive truck across country for Zimmerman Trucking.
We spent numerous times in Florida on vacation. We loved to camp with our motorhomes.
Our daughter and son-in-law took us on a Bermuda cruise in 1999 with the entire family and to Las Vegas for our grand-daughter, Beth's wedding. We also spend a lot of time together as a family at our log cabin at Raystown Lake.
