I lived in the San Diego area but since the middle to late 80's I did not work in San Diego. I worked in a small corner of the mortgage banking world, I worked as a large asset loss mitigation specialst. I was employed by the private sector and spent some time with the FDIC RTC. That was some interesting times. I handled assest such as a hospital in Sacramento, a train station in the midwest, a toxic site in Texas, a VA grave site in Texas, the largest apartment complex in Arizona and of course a swamp in Washington DC. I've no idea how I stumbled into this world but somehow I gained a national reputation of being able to "do that kind of stuff." About 10 years ago I was asked to relocate to Arizona and take over a loss mitigation department for a larger mortgage servicing company. That horrific association nearly killed me after catching Valley Fever and two heart issues. As well as working for possibily the largest pile of crap for a company ever I was really hating my life as it was working every day and spending very little time on me. ....enough said about that huge mistake. I left that cess pool and went to work for a friend, in the hopes of simply putting my feet up for a while then retire.
