James's Story
After graduating from Logan, my family took a vacation to Alaska. I worked up there from '62 to '65. I joined the Navy in 1965. Saw a lot of the world, Japan, Scotland, Spain, Germany, for a few. I was stationed on a Submarine Tender in Scotland when I met my wife. That was July 1970. We were married in December 1970 as I had orders to report to Cocoa Beach Florida January 6th 1971. and only have one child. She had twins eight years ago, a boy and a girl. On Good Friday, April 2009, my job was moved to Thailand, needless to say, I did not want to move. I have decided to apply for SS. My wife is still working at an elementary school, but that is not all that solid what with the current California, country for that matter, economy boondoggle. I may have to think about re-joining the work force if she loses her job. You can find us on facebook.
