My Spouse
At a new student get together in the Statistics Department of the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I saw her there and subsequently asked her out.
We remember the event well because one of the Professors played a practical joke on another. There was a small scale model of the new addition to the Statistics building and one of the Professors was so focussed on explaining it to someone that he didn't notice that it had been inverted by another Professor! He just kept right on explaining where things were located on the model even...Expand for more
though it was upside down! (He thought it was right side up.)
My Kids
All of the kids are excellent at Mathematics, play soccer and perform gymnastics. In fact the two oldest visited the Lake Owen gymnastics camp in Cable, WI last year and will again this year.
My Job
I enjoy doing reasearch and development of mathematical and statistical methods for the solution of business problems. I may also become involved with the presentation of the results to our clients. I occasionally get involved in testifying as an Expert witness in legal cases.
