Jamie's Story
Life
I love working with the Devolopmentaly Disabled and have been doing so for around 10 years now on a professional basis. I had been a Group Home Manager for the past three years and then I was a Program Coordinator over 5 homes with 16 Individuals and 24 Staff doing advication and meeting state guildlines in Phoenix Arizona. I now live in NY. I moved here in July 2005. I am looking forward to returning to school so I can go further in my career. I also am on my secound marriage. I was divorced from my first in 1989 and did not remarry until 1996.

h that I had been a little less needy in high school. I wish that I was excepted more for who I was and treated with a little more understanding. I was told once by an upper classman a couple years ago that "You were Jami Finch and every guy wanted you to look at him the way you looked at Austin Belanger." I don't think that is true. I never felt like I fit at Medway High but I am Happy I went. Even at the 20 year reunion I felt out of place. Thanks to any one who helped me by just saying Hello and hanging out.
Workplace
I am now working in a Day Program. It is a fun job.
