Jamie's Story
Life
After graduation, I went to N.C. State for a year, then joined the Air Force in May '86 and went into the Signals Intelligence career field. I did a 3-year tour in Japan and a 1-year tour in Korea and was stationed in San Antonio 2 times. I was fortunate enough to pick up on computer systems in the mid 90s in the Air Force and went on from there. I exited Active Duty in December 2000 but was recalled to Active Duty again just after 9/11. or for the 346th Test Squadron under the Air Force Information Warfare Center in San Antonio. I got married in 2002 and have 2 stepkids. I retired from the Air Force Reserves in February 2007 and now live in Huntsville Alabama. I worked for Computer Sciences Corporation as a defense contractor for the Army's Threat Systems Management Office on the Redstone Arsenal for a little over 2 years. I now work for Science Applications International Corp (SAIC) as a Information Assurance Security Engineer and travel quite a bit across the U.S.
