Jamie's Story

To see photos, feel free to visit my face page on FaceBook. I have been married 40 years and am still madly in like and in love. Nancy and I have three children and five grandchildren. My oldest daughter lives in N Y City and is married to a successful model and part time actor. You could see them on their own "reality" show they have created online at: nathanlivestoeat.com They just had their first child in May after ten years of marriage. My middle daughter got married in April of 2010. She recently quit her job as a clothing designer for Eddie Bauer. My youngest son has four children and manages a car dealership owned by his father in law. After high school I attended Bible College for four years and was married shortly after that. After working construction for a short time we moved to Bozeman MT to help another couple start a church. We were there for six years and then moved to Spokane where I pastored a church for four years. For 29 years I did financial work with retirees helping them with investments, tax strategies and estate planning. We recently sold our home on Lake Tapps and moved to South Hill, Puyallup. I love golf, and always played tennis until a few years ago. Just got too lazy. My wife and I have been very fortunate to have had the chance to travel a fair amount and still retain dozens of friendships developed over the last forty years. I am still very passionate about studying the Bible and it has been my first love for almost forty years. God has done many miracles in my own life and has allowed me to influence others by ...Expand for more
His love and transforming power. I was dramatically healed in my first week of Bible College just after my eighteenth birthday. One of my legs was about 2 1/2 inches shorter than the other and as I was prayed for I watched it grow out to the same length as the other. One of my greatest events in my life were two trips to India where we ministered to thousands of people in remote villages over two separate two week periods. I got to personally pray for hundreds of people and saw God instantly heal them. These included people born blind, deaf, and with other serious sicknesses. There is nothing that remotely compares to experiencing the powerful love of God for others who can do nothing in return and to know that it has absolutely NOTHING to do with me. I couldn't heal a fly's wing...When I remember how completely lost and aimless and rather confused I was in high school, I am amazed and completely humbled when I look back at all that has happened in my life. I feel so full with the friendships, the children/grandchildren, and the peace and rest I experience every day. This doesn't mean it has been a joy ride, we have certainly had our share of challenges, headaches, and sadness. But, it has all gone together to create a better man than I ever thought was possible, and all the glory and honor goes to Him. My wife and I started a church February 2013 in Fife, WA.. called "The Well". As of June 2017 we are just completing the purchase of a church property in Sumner, WA. It is impossible to sum up forty years in a half page, but that is the snapshot.
