Jamie's Story

Life I graduated law school in 2007 and took the Bar Exams for NY and CT, and passed both. I worked full time, as a Managing Attorney at a general practice law office in Center Moriches, now I am running my own firm from home. I've studied abroad in Germany and in China for a summer each and after the bar exams I went on a vacation to Key West with a friend from law school. I am dating a wonderful man, who I happened to have gone to HS with, we reconnected over a year ago and both are planning a future together. I currently am back in Mastic, but that will change soon. Workplace I have always swore I wouldn't work in fast food and to this day have not, I...Expand for more
don't even eat fast food. I babysat for years, then got paid to go to parties for a couple summers (Bounce USA, Inc.), worked as an assistant to the Controller of Chembio Diagnostic Systems, Inc., worked as holiday help in Perfumania as a favor to a friend of the family and found that I dislike working in retail. The summer after I went to China I interned for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, East End Bureau, and for over 7 years I worked in a Law Office in Center Moriches where I was a Managing Attorney. Currently, I own my own firm and practice out of my home. I am also a bartender for a pool hall in Bayport, and I zumba a few times a week.
