Jamie's Story
A brief history of Jamie Livingston: After graduating I went to Hartnell College for a few years, then Cal Poly SLO. I studied Ag Business and ended up working in the produce business and competing in barrel racing events and rodeo. I left the produce industry to go back to school at San Jose State University, to study human performance, and ended right back in the produce industry again. The money was too good.
I met my husband, who worked for Dole. We now live in Iowa. We own a fast food franchise and I also own a jewelry design business. You can see my jewelry in national catalogs such as Signals, Wireless, WGBH, and Acacia. I also sell to about 150 stores nationwide.

mi-retired, I'm starting a 4 year old who looks very promising.
Scot and I have no children (by choice) but we have 2 horses, 2 dogs, and 2 cats (barn cats). We live in the country on a 6 acre farm. If our plans work out we will both be retired by my fiftieth birthday, which seems to be getting here way too fast.
Along with my real life I also am a writer. I've been published in major magazines, and I've written a few novels (unpublished, but shopping with agents), and I'm currently working on a screenplay. I'm plannning on a trip to San Francisco at the end of July 2008 for a RWA conference. I really miss living in CA. I've been in Iowa for 13 years.
Life has been great, and I hope to be able to make it back for a reunion eventually.
