Jamye's Story
Although, I made a very stupid mistake by quitting school and getting married in latter 1977... (I should have graduated in 1978) I did wise up, got myself back into school and received my high school diploma in 1984. This was an extremely hard goal to meet. I had two toddler sons who kept most of my free time busy. My boys are now ages 30 and 31.
Long story short, I went into hospice work and remained in this field for approximately 25 years. In 2002, I was introduced by a friend, to a world class science fiction and fantasy writer named Andre Norton. This was a casual introduction and not a situation involving her health. ally. I accepted her offer. We grew to be very close friends.I eventually moved Andre into my home because of her declining health and, took care of her until her death in March 2005. After her death, I learned that she had left me her entire literary estate which consisted of over 300 published copyrights. You never know where life leads you. I got off to a bad start by dropping out of high school but, I feel that I have truly redeemed myself and was able to make myself successful through hard work.
