Hi Friends! Our University High School Class of 1969 Reunion is scheduled for September 6 & 7!
Still happily married to Chris (over 48 years), two married school teacher daughters, five grandsons,and two granddaughters! Finished my 18 year career in media, bought a restaurant, closed same two years later, now SAHG and chauffeur to those without their DL yet. Active in church and Kiwanis, love take kids to Schweitzer, live in townhouse condo and have another at Schweitzer Mountain, love to travel. Since our last reunion I’ve been to Europe three times, China, Mexico, Alaska and places closer to home. I have been a caregiver to my husband, Chris, who has been through two flavors of cancer, a stem cell transplant and a near-terminal pneumonia. The last two years have been about rebuilding. radually improved, and now he can run three miles and ski most of a day. We have come to appreciate good health more than ever.
We no longer go whitewater rafting every year -- 2008 we did Hell's Canyon on the Snake, in 2007 it was 17 days on Colorado in Grand Canyon (my picture above is a self-portrait from launch day), the year before that, Middle Fork of the Salmon, who knew I'd turn out so adventurous?! (Chris does all the rowing.) The last two years I went with several of my brothers, a sister and miscellaneous cousins, nieces, nephews. Lots of work, but great fun!
