Jan's Story
I moved from CC in the early 70's and lived in NJ twice for over 15 years. After the first several years in NJ I lived in Oklahome City (Edmond)and Leawood,Kansas (suburb of Kansas). After moving to Millburn (Short Hills), NJ in 1993 I did not work for several years and had the opportunity to become an ESL tutor and certified domestic violence crisis counselor. or Drug and Alcohol Education and helped a friend start an after school program located at our middle shcool. After moving back to Houston in 2002 I used my background in business and finance, to go to work at one of the major hospitals in the Texas Medical Center. My youngest (son) graduated from Auburn University May 2011 and my daughter graduated from from law school December 2011 (Washington D.C.)
