More about Jan:"I decided I wanted to be a band director and a trumpet player in the first grade. I was the Director of Bands for the Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools for 25 years and have been the trumpet section leader in the Kalamazoo Concert Band for 27 years. In the spring of 2010 I accepted the State of Michigan Retirement Incentive and a job offer from the Marshall Music Company. My teaching career was a dream come true and I feel that my Marshall Music career is just an extension of that. I enjoy working for a company that shares my ethics and dedication to music educators, their programs and their students. In general I am a peaceful person who likes to live simply, love tenderly, speak kindly and care deeply. I am blessed with a very close family and a cat who loves me! God continues to bless me abundantly every day.".
