Jan's Story
HI, Everyone,
It's embarrassing how few names I remember, but I trust my familiarity with many of you will come back to me at some point.
I hated high school! I was never so happy as to leave it in my past, despite some happy memories, most of which involve either working on Cadence (the literary magazine) or playing on the softball team, which was a blast. We wore shorts! Can you believe it? I guess no one expected anyone to slide . . .

oved to Chicago, where I've been ever since. I work in educational publishing and specialize in writing assessments (yeah, you got it, tests). I've published a whole slew of biographies for juvenile readers, two mystery novels for adult readers, and a book on how to write tests. So I guess I'm a writer when I'm not being an editor.
I got married and remained so and had three children, who are now all adults.
The only high school people i remain in touch with are Karen Chance and Jane Polsky.
I'll be at the reunion in September of this year (2014), so I'll see anyone else who's also there.
