Jan's Story
I left Artesia on the bus the morning after graduation and pretty much partied my way through my 20's, moving around a lot, and working as a bartender.
I moved to Arizona in 1977 and to Tucson in 1979.
At 30, I went back to school, earned an M.B.A. and became a marketing executive.

ching part-time in 1996. Quit my "day job" several years later and now am a professor at the University of Arizona. I also teach part-time at our community college.
There are several additional careers I intend to embark on in the near future.
I've been married and divorced 3 times, no children.
