Jan's Story
Life
Let's make a long story short! After high school, I headed to Oklahoma State University. While there, I got married to Bryan Bryant(also a Wewokan-class of '87). After he graduated from OSU, we moved to Norman where I finished my degree at OU. So unfortunately, I am an OU alum. Anyway, we moved back to Wewoka in '95 with our son, Garrett who was 1 at the time, to be closer to our families. Yes, an hour away was too far for me from my sisters and mom. n and I have now been married for 12 years and my world revolves around him and our two sons, who are now 6 and 10. Needless to say, we stay quite busy with all of their activities. We've decided that our children's school & social activities have taken over our lives and I don't see that changing anytime soon! Bryan works at Security State Bank and I work at Davis Correctional Facility in Holdenville. Working in a prison with inmates was something I would have never imagined myself doing, but I absolutely love it. I have been very fortunate in my life and I count my blessings!
