Jan's Story

I've been married to the same guy, Joey, for 32 years and we have 2 incredible sons, Joey (28) and Rhett (23). Our daughter, Jordan, passed away in 1991 just before her 3rd birthday after open heart surgery. Our oldest son, Joey, and his wife blessed us with a granddaughter 4 years ago and she is the bright light in our lives. I'm a trauma nurse ...Expand for more
at Ben Taub Trauma Center and have a love/hate relationship with my job. My dogs, Bam-Bam and Minnie Pearl are my calming factors in life. Rhett will be graduating from SHSU in December, so a little bit of empty-nesting going on. I'm seriously addicted to football, beaches and messing around on my guitar, and would love to hear from old friends.
