gest of my 6 children off to college leaving me with no children at home for the first time in 39 years. I'm finding it something of a new adventure. I recently finished working on my Master's Degree in Community Counseling, and am currently employed as a Mental Health Therapist in Alaska. I am still a work in progress, subject to change as life happens and I gain more experience. God and my family are very important to me. I believe that we all need to dream and reach for our dreams, that we never grow in our comfort zones, and that life is not about what happens to you, but about what you do with it.".

It's snowing this morning which makes it a perfect day for football, and a pot of chili!
We misssed the record for rainfall in January by something like 1/4 of an inch.  I guess we are trying again to see if we can get the February record for precipitation.....it was pouring all night and about half of the day.
