Life
So many years in a nutshell - hmm. I got my BA in International Relations at the University of Central Florida, then went to graduate school in Science, Technology and Public Policy at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. I worked as a space policy analyst in Germany, France and Japan, then got married in 1988 to a German guy, whom I met while working at the German Space Agency. 20 years. We have a son, Ricky, born in 1994. I go back to the US at least once or twice a year, and my parents visit us every summer. I recently visited Beaufort after getting in touch with an old friend. Things have really changed!
I wasn't very athletic in high school, but began running marathons in 2007 and do two each year (best time: Berlin 2007 - 3:55:44). I also started training for triathlons and will be competing for the first time in the summer of 2009.
