Jan's Story
After graduating from RHS in 1964, I attended Westminster College in PA where I obtained a BA in Elementary Education. I taught First and Second Grade at the same school for 31 years and I retired in 2000.
I met my husband when I rented a room at his Mom's house in 1969. Little did I know that we would eventually marry in 1972. We were together for 35 y...Expand for more
ears before, sadly, Tom pased away in 2007. I'm still coping with his death-taking baby steps each day.
Tom and I built a home in Pasadena, MD on 10 acres of woods. I have deer, raccoons, squirrels,birds, and an occasional fox, among other visitors. Currently,I have a lab-rotti mix named Nikki and 3 feral cats who have been "fixed" and live outside.
