Jan's Story
Moved to Indianapolis 6 years ago and enjoy being close to my two daughters and two beautiful grandchildren. Some days I find it hard to believe I am old enough to have grandchildren but I wouldn't change it for the world.
I have been working with other classmates on my 40th class reunion. It's a lot of work but lots of fun. I have so enjoyed getting in touch with old friends. Highschool for me like most others had it's ups and downs but I have many fond memories of my classmates. My class has had 5 reunions and I haven't missed one. This reunion I believe will be the largest and I can't wait to see EVERYONE. Over the last 40 years we have lost more classmates then I care to think about and for that reason I feel this one is the most important. I know we aren't getting any younger and it's time to celebrate how lucky we are to be able to attend. Higland High was a wonderful school with wonderful students and teachers, our children and grandchildren should be as lucky as we were growing up.

ds have always been a big party of my life, in school and even now 40 years later.
I am ashamed to say I watch way way to much reality tv. Please don't tell anyone. LOL
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a huge master bath. My dream home would be near water..
What I have learned over the years of raising children and now being so invloved with my grandchildren is not to make big deals out of little things. You really have to learn time passes so quickly and to enjoy every minute you have.
My oldest and one of my very dearest friend I met in third grade, Melinda Jones. Melinda and I are still close friends today. She was new to Indiana and we just clicked even then. We have lived very different lives for many years but we always found our way back to each other. No matter what I and she always have known we were there for each other. I am so grateful for my friendship with Melinda.
I have many childhood memories some very sad but most happy. I made many life long friends.
I hope my old classmates remember me as a good person, sometimes loud and a little wild but still a good person.
