Jan's Story
Life
After graduating, I used my CBE skills as a secretary and realized it wasn't going to cut it. Went back to school for court reporting (saw one of my CBE teachers at one of the schools selling books, guess she went for a new career). Went to an attorney - McNearny's, St. Partrick's Day party and was introduced to my boyfriend as his gift for having traveled the furtherest that day to attend the party (He was in the Air Force, returning from trip to England.) work hard and look forward to retiring soon. However, because we both have worked so hard for so long retirement just means a new phase of different projects. For him, farming; for me, I'd like to learn to build homes and concentrate on embroidering, sewing and writing for fun.
I do enjoy cooking and parties and have lots of those because I run hotel on the beach and there's always someone around here. But maybe all will pay off soon as I hope to sell off some, slow down and let the good times roll.
