Jana's Story
Life
Next to meeting and marrying a wonderful man, I'd have to say the most amazing thing that has happened in my life was the birth of my boys. My oldest was born 12/2001 and I had my second in 11/2003. They keep me going. The strangest thing that has happened? My sister and I never got a long growing up, but now she's not only one of my best friends, she's my sister-in-law. Yes my sister married my husband's brother. My sister also had a baby in Feb. 2004, so I finally became an Aunt. I love being a mommy and an auntie. I'd have to say the hardest thing I've had to deal with during my life was the loss of my dad. He passed away July 2002 after a lengthy illness and I'm still not over it. It's been very hard for me since we were so close. I'm not overly religious, but I do believe he is looking down on us and taking care of our family. Between work and my family, there is little time for anything else. I try to keep up with friends, but it's been hard lately. So if you're out there, email me. I'd love to hear from you.
School
The high school years were crazy! Sometimes I do ...Expand for more
wish I would've chosen a different path, however then I wouldn't have had the amazing memories I have. Some I wish to block out of my mind, but most were pretty fun. My biggest crush ever, well anyone who really knew me then knows it was on Tank Waklee.
College
After high school I just couldn't stand the thought of College. Cindy Satake and I took classes together at Cosumnes that first year. Then she moved away and I started attending Heald Business College. I knew I wanted to be in the courtroom atmosphere but didn't want to go to school forever to become an attorney. After graduation I worked in anything but the courtroom. Now I'm right where I wanted to be.
Workplace
I started as a bank teller, then a secretary for an attorney, then became a funder for a leasing company, then a doc drawer/funder for a mortgage company, then my courtroom job happened to fall into my lap when I least expected it. I am now a courtroom clerk for Superior Court of Ca.
Military
I'm too high maintenance - As my husband would say, I'd have to wake up at 3am to get ready before my 5am wake up call.
