Jana's Story
My kids are my life and keep me busy. I now have two grandsons, Landon (9/11/09) and Peyton (12/03/13). We moved to Tennessee in 2004 and love it here. I am currently working for a clinical trials medical supply company. We love the area, so many things to see and do.
Brandon (3/7/84) our oldest, he is ex-Marine Lance Corporal. Medical discharged due to knee and wrist injuries. He is living at home for now. Is working for J-Tek in the Jonesborough area. He also put in a Koi pond for me to enjoy. Brandon started racing street cars and belongs to VIR, AIR and TIR where he races several time a year.
Aaron (7/6/90) is a great father to his sons. He was in the Marines Reserves as a Lance Corporal. But after his tour was up he has now gone to the National Guard and is a Sargent, stationed in Elizabethton. Jessica, his wife, is currently a lead phlebotomist and Medical Technician at a local medical facility. She is a great mom and is constantly going with her two boys.

Randy, my husband, since 1980, we met in 1978 and have been together since. Randy is into woodworking and is self employed, construction jobs anything large or small. He has set up his woodworking, RawCraft, and really enjoys this and attends several shows.
We love it here in Tennessee, we live in Jonesborough, TN. The Smokey mountains are beautiful any time of the year. The weather is great and there is no ice storms here, just plain old snow in the winter. Anywhere from 5 minutes to 1 hour we can be rafting or hiking or at the lake. There are several places in the winter within about an hour drive to go skiing and so many historical sites to visit and go see that are right here or within a few hours drive. The job market is not very good, but we wanted the quiet of a small town but the convenience of a city. We have a 10 minute drive to Johnson City and 1 1/2 hour drive to Knoxville.
Well, that is my life right now. Nothing spectacular. But it is hard to believe that we have been married for 40 + years now and how blessed we are with our children and our lives.
