Life
I married Ron (Ronnie) Pollard a couple of years after we graduated from Central High in Knoxville. We had four daughters, who were our pride and joy. Ron worked at Plasti-Line, in Knoxville, for twenty years. I worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Knoxville for nine years (in the business office), UMWA benefits office in Knoxville for eight years (the office was relocated to eastern Kentucky), TVA

y this time Ron had purchased his own company Neon Service Company in Knoxville. After leaving FDIC I joined Ron at the sign company. After his death in 1997 I realized I knew more about the sign business than I had ever realized. I kept the company until 2005. I remarried Lewis S. (Sam) Pipkin, who is from west Tennessee in 1999. We have remained in the Powell/Karns area. My time now is spend being a grandparent, gardening, traveling, and taking an active roll at my church.
