Wendy's Story
Life
I currently work in sales and marketing for one of the largest cruise lines in North America. Planing on moving soon to the West Coast to pursue my dreams of writing and working in the Public Relations field. I have an adorable pup and cute kitty for my family. I still enjoy watching high school football and college football on my days off. I work hard and play even harder now that I have become established in the business world. Its no problem just taking a weekend off and flying to the West Coast to enjoy the company of good friends. :)
Just a bit of new information. My life has been full of some exciting news and some sadness in the last few years. Lets start with the good stuff first. Returning to school to finish my masters degree in Public Relations. My little sister Donna for all who new her in high school is still happily married to her marines. A direct comment from my oldest nephew "my mom is a baby making machine." I'm a proud auntie of three adorable nephews and one on the way. My puppy has grown up and the kitty. came back not to long ago to find the new ME. I finally found my true love in life.
On July 11, 2005 my best friend/little brother was killed by an IAD in Iraq at check point 3. He was do to come home in 7 days to see his wife my best friend Angela. The devastation of TJ's loss has been difficult to accept. He was married to my best friend for 6 incredible months. The three of us shared many good times together in the months prior to him going to Iraq. Those memories will be forever in my heart. I spend alot of time at the memorial at Fort Carson grieving for my best friend. He will always be my hero along with my cousin who was killed in Baghdad in March of 2007.
The two losses have made me realize life is way to short. You should always chase your dreams and follow through to make them come true. I guess I'm going for the gold so to speak.
School
Sorry but no real crush in high school. Now college is another story all together. Mr. Doerr and Mrs. Muller inspired me the most. You could not pay me enough money to redo high school!!!
