Jane's Story
Life
Hello again Bellingham. I was known as Janie Fairbrother. I now live in Mesa, Arizona and love the weather. I have 1 grown daughter who is adorable and very beautiful plus a bunch of Grandkids including twin Grandsons.
Let's look back. I was usually seen running around the Town of Bellingham with Bill Forbes. I was a very petite brunette. I always loved Bellingham as my Childhood home but sadly :when I was almost 17 my parents took me away to Mich against my teenager's strong will. I did not want to ever leave Bellingham.
I was engaged to Bill Forbes during that time and as in most long distance relationships we did not make it. I still talk to him off and on today he's a good guy.
Within a few years after I left moved to Michigan I went further West to Arizona. I was there to help my Grandparents who were were ill.
I never left Arizona and in later years I owned a beautiful Plant Nursery in Tempe Az. I did 2 different Radio Shows on 6 days a week and talked about Plantscapes, chemicals and the Plants in Az.
I love it here and never want to leave Arizona. This time I was my own Boss and stayed in Az for about 40 years now. I always felt Bellingham was my childhood home and Arizona has been my Adult home.
I live on a few Acres and have what I'd call a Mini Ranch ...Expand for more
look with Cacti and the huge Saguro. We Use to have horses and Cattle.
I have a photo I listed here on Classmates that was taken a few years after I left Bellingham. I had grown my hair longer as most of my Adult life it was past my Waist. I need to get a more current picture. The one with the young girl is me sitting in the Yard with my Late Granddaughter Ashley.
I add that my love of my Puppies was always a big part of my Life. I have raised Tiny Chihuahua Kennel here in Az. Years ago I use to raise and show St. Bernards in the AKC Shows. I gave that up as the requirde a lot of work to keep, feed and keep in a Show.Coat.
When I lived in Bellingham you would probably remember me having that Classic" hair style The Flip and I had full bangs. I was always the shortest girl in School during those years and I did Cheerleading and I was a Dancer with Lucier in Milford and I was to become one of the Lucierettes dance team. . I never saw 5 ft tall so I could not go on to my dream of trying out for the Rockettes in NYCL. I believe You had to be 5ft 6 to dance with them. I belive my friend Diane Bianchi (hope I spelled that right) from Bellingham did go on to make it as a Rockette. She was a excellent Dancer for sure.
