Jane's Story
Life
My BA in Cinema didn't give me any job skills, so I learned the refrigeration, electrical, & solar trades with Peter, my partner of 31 years. We job-shared in San Francisco for 10 years until we moved to the woods outside Nevada City, CA to start Blackberry, an intentional community, with our chosen family & our 1st daughter Cory Po (now 24, a graduate of UC Davis in Theater and English).

working part time at Sierra Solar Systems in nearby Grass Valley for the last 19 years, & homeschooling our daughters the rest of the time.
Sage Po (our 14-yr-old) is an amazingly accomplished musician. She's been playing the harp for almost 7 years now, and has been recognized nationally for her talent.
I also helped to start the Peace Center of Nevada County, a community organization that honors the essential power of people to nurture peace, equality and dignity in ourselves, our community and our Earth.
