A resident of Northeast Ohio, I earned a BA in psychology and biology from Oberlin College, and an MA in Clinical Social Work from Case Western Reserve University. My professional experience includes serving as a counselor at a battered womenâs shelter, a group home supervisor for the developmentally disabled, and as a research assistant in microbiology/immunology at Temple University Medical School.
I teach QiGong, Relaxation/Stress Reduction techniques, and am a Reiki practitioner & Energy worker. I appeared on the PBS Series, âHealth Visionsâ presenting an hour long program focused on âQiGong & Healing Energy.â I've been practicing daily meditation and visualization techniques since childhood and have been practicing QiGong daily for ~20 years. I practice Reiki on my 2 therapy dogs daily and teach my Psychotherapy clients stress reduction techniques for their service dogs.
My lifelong passion for healing has emphasized the humanâanimal connection, culminating in certifications as a Canine Massotherapist and as a Consultant for Therapy and Service Animals by the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC).".
