Jane's Story
Life
I met my husband John while I was working in Wichita, KS for Boeing Computer Services. I moved to Hutchinson, KS, went to work for Farmland Industries Computer Services, and married John in 1985. Farmland transferred me to Kansas City in 1988 and we are still here. Farmland sold it's Information Technology division to Ernst & Young before Farmland went bankrupt and out of business. E&Y IT eventually became Capgemini which is who I worked for until I retired in 2014. As an IT projects manager, I helped companies make use of their computer technology. Some of the companies I worked with were in Kansas City near our home and others are out of town and around the world. Great and challenging opportunities and experiences.

th the local American Red Cross Disaster Services (for over 20 years), Northland Christian Church (participate in children and adult activities), local Republican Women's Club, other activities, and family.
I have slowly lost connections to Tulsa and now Oklahoma as my parents first moved to Pryor 25 years ago, my sister (Sue) and brother (Jim) have moved out of state, and my parents have passed away. Though I don't have any relatives in Oklahoma now, I have many friends and Tulsa will always be my hometown.
I have a co-worker in Kansas City, Rodney Giebel, who was in East Central's class of 1978. We didn't know each other then, but found the connection one day when talking about Tulsa.
