Jane's Story

I have been working in healthcare as a clinical lab scientist since graduation. I started out at the Miriam Hospital, and worked at R.I. Blood Center, the Forensic Labs at the R.I. Dept. of Health, R.I. Hospital, and currently at Women and Infants Hospital as the Lab Compliance Officer. I have been married for 15 years to Steven Pilz (time flies). We live in western Cranston in an area that was Hillside Farms before it was developed. We have a cat named Leonardo. It's hard to believe I graduated from SMAV 40 years ago! I remain friends with our classmates Marie Ribezzo (now Nadeau), Valerie Plynkofsky (now Lomus), and Gail Petrunic (now Moro).
