Times were different in those days. We had Vietnam going on and many of our young men were in the military. I had a young man there during my high school years. We were engaged for my seinor year. He was in Vietnam. I was in Girls Choir. Loved it. He came home. We married. Traveled the world in the Army with Him for 20 years. We had three sons. More time in Vietnam for him during the last part of the war. We were married 35 years. His exposure to agent orange in Vietnam was a factor in development of lung cancer and his death in 2003. Vietnam is still taking good men at a young age just as it did many years ago. I went to school after his death in 2004. Christ For The Nations in Dallas Texas. I have grandchildren and I enjoy spending time with them. Travel and enjoy my life as much as I poissibly can. I am working at the hobby lobby retail stores and love it! Still travel and enjoy my family. Life is good! 2015 was a very full year. I had a grandchild come and stay with me and she is also working at Hobby Lobby. Her Father has since become a employee at the store with us. Interesting to be working with my family. I hope to be retiring in the near future...Expand for more
