Jane's Story
It wouldn't surprise anyone - I married Ron in '69.
We have now been married 40 years and have 2 wonderful men. Our oldest is an illustrator for comic books (DC, etc.) having done books on Wonder Woman, Super Girl, Star Wars, and now covers for G.I. Joe. He is also working on the style book for the movie for G.I. Joe. His wife is terrific - she's one of the animators and now a director for the "Simpson's". We have a wonderful new (and first) granddaughert. Our second son is just as creative, just in a different direction. Graduated U of OR. with a business degree, and is now working toward a degree in brewing of beer so that he may open his own brew pub in Oregon with his wife who is a terrific journalist. I've had an interesting life being with Ron. From one coast to the other and states in between. Met a lot of different people - musicians, actors, and let's just say different people!
For myself - I finally decided what I wanted to be when I grew up (well - I haven't actually grown up!). From working indoors (hospitals, colleges, etc.) for what seemed liked forever, I now design landscapes. It's not a job, just fun.
I don't miss the school, just some of the people who were my friends. Ron and I have traveled and I guess a bit of gypsy is still in me 'cause we are still moving and traveling. The adventure has been quiet interesting and great fun.
