After graduating from High School, I enrolled at UNO to get my Bachelor's degree in Education. I reconnected with Jeff Hix as a Freshman, and 3 1/2 years later we were married, and was busy teaching 2nd and 3rd graders. I put my teaching on the b...Expand for more
ackburner to raise our 4 children, and in the meantime did numerous volunteer activities. I returned to substitute teaching after the kids got older, and have retired from that to become a part-time babysitter for my 3 grandsons ages 5, 3, and 1.
