Jane's Story
Life
Once there was Wilson High.
Then there was a year in Germany with Youth for Understanding - my senior year. (I've never been to a prom or a homecoming - what is that, anyway?)
Germany was good - I went back - lived and worked there until 1983.
Came back to Oregon - not so great, but toughed it out.
Went from admin work to computer support to technical support to supervisory - married, had kids, got divorced, went back to work.
Now I'm a project manager, homeowner, soccer mom, kid shuttle service and occasional drill sergeant when kids are in slow motion...Expand for more
. I do webmaster for Scouts on the side, photography for Metro on the side, newsletter editor-ing on the side, and work to save the world one email at a time.
I work, I fiddle (Celtic), raise kids. mOstly work. Hang with friends. Work. Yup, that's mostly it. Irish fiddle balances everything out - it's my 'thing'. Now you know.
Update: had enough of the population explosion in Beaverton and moved to the Oregon coast in summer of 07. Slower pace, better scenery. Life is good. Soon we'll be rid of Bush forever. Life is GREAT.
