My Spouse
I met my husband at Shoreline Community College, we had a Nutrition class together. I was in the class for an easy "A" (science requirement), he was there because he was very interested in becoming a dietician.
One day I asked him about one of the homework questions.(He was sitting with another of our classmates, so I figured it would be safe) We started talking and realized that we worked out at the same gym. (I'd seen him there a couple of times, but tried not to make it obvious)
A couple days later we were walking out of class, and he asked if I was going to the gym after work. I said yes and he said he'd see me there. I was SO excited, I got all fixed up (to go workout!) but when I got there, he was no where to be found. What a let down!
I decided not to let it get to me, and started working out furiously. About 30 minutes into my workout, who shows up all showered and clean? Yes, it was Chris. He said that he'd gotten off work early and decided to work out then. I was on the stationary bike at the time, and by then my hair was all messed and I was sweaty...ICK! We started talking and 30 minutes later (yes, I was biking the whole time) he said that he had to go. I finished up my workout and left.

ill in the parking lot? He came over to me and we started talking again. He gave some phony reason for still being there (he'd supposedly run into a friend who, I later found out, he MADE stay there until I came out).
After almost a whole semster of waiting, I thought this was it. He was FINALLY going to ask me out. But he said he had to go. But, as I was pulling out of the parking spot, he turned around, came back to my car and asked me out.
We've been together ever since! :)
My Pets
Abbie-is a Lab-Retriever mix, all black. She's a great dog. Loves to cuddle and dance with us. She is very loyal to and protective of me. Our great big baby!
Meggie-is a Border-Collie, black & white. She thinks she's human, gives great hugs and has to be on us, no matter where we are. She is totally "daddy's little girl" though she thinks she's his wife! She gets very jealous when I kiss or hug Chris.
My Job
I work for an insurance/financial services agency. Our agency is larger than 98% of all insurance agencies in the U.S. and is totally not-for-profit. We donated over $68 million to charity last year alone!
I pretty much run the show at the office. Doing everything from scheduling appointments to paying bills and from balancing their checkbooks to organizing workshops.
