Life
After leaving Oakton in the summer of '73, for Philadelphia, I graduated from high school here and attended Villanova University as an english and theater major. I graduated as an opera major from the Curtis Institute of Music and began a career both as a performer and teacher ,on the college level, of aspiring singers. Mrs. Virginia T. Hill was a great inspiration to me while I was her student, and I still think of her quite often. Especially when I made my Carnegie Hall solo debut in March 1999. he years since we both left VA. We were bridesmaids in each other's weddings...she has been married since 1977, and I have since "78. My husband , Bill, and I have 3 children...Sarah is 15, Ian is 13 and Ryan is 10. Jan....well...I should let her fill in the details...she and her family reside in Ohio now and are, at last report, healthy and happy. My brother John who would've graduated in the class of '75, is now the Attorney General for the state of New Jersey. He was widowed, and recently remarried after 7 years. Would love to hear from any classmates from class of 74, and any info re: Virginia Hill would be most welcome...
