Janet's Story

I've had hardships in life but have grown from the experiences. I have a beautiful family who is very supportive of me. I am happily married to my second husband. I have three comforting children who are grown and have ages of 34, 28, and 27. Have been married 30 years to current husband! I am thankful for life! I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.. I relax by listening to music. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Marilyn Emerson, because she was my best friend.. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Brian Albers, because he was my best "boy" friend.. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is David Dusenberry, because he was in our "click". Christian music. Church. Family. God. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel everything and add on a bigger kitchen. My dream home would be in Vermont.. I've learned to listen to them and respect them and never be afraid to say to them, "I'm sorry." If I won $100 million, I'd give 10% to my church of it to my family, then spend the rest on charity, those in need and myself and my husband.. It was a blast!!!!!!!!! My current age is 55. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be "OLD". I was so completely wrong.. I worked in banking for 25 years...Expand for more
. I was promoted from teller, to Head teller, Assistant Savings Manager, Vault teller, and then Administrative Assistant. I've had a wonderful career and have learned more than I ever dreamed of in banking. My best friend would tell you I'm quiet, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a loner.. Very conservitive but yet in style. Maybe a few dress sizes bigger. Ha! Ha! I share my home with my husband, which I find thrilling.. I worked for Sam's Club for a while during transitions in banking. I was awarded an award for helping in a set up crew in Fairmont, VA. In 10 years, I hope to be just as young as I ever have been. I'm going to get there by keep exercising, relaxing and enjoying life.. I met Marilyn Emerson in the 7th grade when I moved to Limestone, Illinois. (Herscher High School) We clicked because she was opposite from me. She was goofy, and very outgoing with everyone. My first job was at tHerscher community working in the corn fields, where I got paid minimum wage to minimum wage. What I remember most about it is was we all got to wear our bathing suits, it was hard work, and it was very HOT>. My first job was at Herscher community, where I got paid minimum wage to minimum wage. What I remember most about it is that it was very HOT. We all got to wear bathing suits. It was hard work; but yet it was fun to do it with friends..
