Janet's Story
I graduated from the University of La Verne in 1974, entered Brethren Volunteer Service until 1975, entered seminary at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in 1975, graduated in 1978, was ordained into ministry for the United Methodists, and went to Nebraska to preach, left in 1985, returned to CA, and went back to school at San Bernardino State Univ. for a multiple subject teaching credential, and continued at Cal Poly Pomona, getting a Special Ed credential (now called Moderate to Severe). enjoy listening to live music, especially Celtic and other folk and traditional musics, I attend science fiction and fantasy conventions, am a Mac. user (both laptop and desktop). I have a lovely domestic partner who is also a teacher, and one daughter, now 30yrs old, who is a veterinarian in Oakland, CA. I am seriously considering retirement in the next two years, but all will depend on whether we can sell the house or not. (1923 Craftsman bungalow on .26 of an acre - interest??) - Regards, Janet
