Janet's Story
I have been married to my husband Bob for 45 years and we have 3 daughters, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Prior to moving to Florida (May 1983) we owned a construction company building homes and developed subdivisions in Highland, Mt. Vernon and Wood River Illinois.
When arriving in Florida we planned to continue that line of work however we purchased a rolling shutter company and operated the company for over 17 years in Melbourne Florida before selling it and retiring.

For my 50th birthday my husband surprised me with a trip to Auckland New Zealand, and Sydney Australia. We also spent a several years touring the United States on our touring motorcycle; we traveled through 47 states and 5 Canadian Providences. One of our longest trips was a 5 week 3000 mile ride in which we traveled from Florida to Alberta and British Columbia zig zagging throughout all the states West of the Mississippi (My favorite place was Jackson Hole, were we spent 5 days) Other trips took us throughout the Eastern part of the US including all of the New England states and everywhere in between.
