Janet Charles's Story
I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I attended Robert E. Lee High School from 1070 thru 1974. I then attended The University of Texas in Austin, and received my BS in Pharmacy in 1979. I got married in 1979 to Barry Bubis and I moved to Austin TX in 1982 and lived there until I got divorced in 1997.
I moved to Dallas in 1979 with my 3 young kids. I worked as a pharmacist for Walmart and then for Walgreens. I got married again in 2005 to Jay Abarams. I love watching sports on TV and attending games in person. My interests include Dallas Mavericks Basketball, Dallas Stars Ice Hockey, Dallas Cowboys Football, and The Texas Rangers Baseball.. Books I like include Garman Publishing, John Grisham, Hunger Games, Fifty Shades of Gray. Movies include The Hunger Games, You've Got Mail, The Lake House. TV shows include Grey's Anatomy, Dancing with the Stars, Good Morning America, and Are you Smarter than a 5th grader?
I am described as "eternally cute" & a "workaholic".
My kids are now grown and I am so very proud of them.. My oldest son, David is a doctor, my middle son Bryan is a lawyer and he just got married, and my baby girl, Jordan just received her Masters in speech pathology.
I have been a pharmacist for 32+ years. I recently quit working for Walgreens and now work full time for Covance, doing Pharmaceutical Research. Looking forward to retirement.....
