Janet's Story
Reading and writing are my passions. My car automatically turns in at Barnes and Noble. I'm on a first name basis with all the local librarians and it was a sad day for my credit card when I discovered Amazon. I've won, or placed, in several short story contests in the last couple of years. I don't know if I will try to take that to any higher level, but reading and writing keeps me off the streets and out of the taverns.
I also am a serious sherenschnitte (papercutting) artist. Picked up a knife and began cutting 40 years ago and I'm still busy making little pieces of paper out of big pieces.

at fur with my plethora of paper scraps. It isn't safe to wear black at my house.
As a volunteer, I edited and published a monthly newsletter for twenty five years and managed a small community theater company for a decade as well. I gave up both activities and retired from my job as a church administrator to take care of my ailing husband several years ago. I am now widowed, but stay active in my community and with my two gorgeous granddaughters and my seriously funny grandson. I've taken care of the girls since they were born and discovered several years ago I'm not smarter than a fifth grader. All three share my creative interests so a lot of happy time is spent with them.
