Winter 2015
Well, today is a snow day, pretty much stuck, with the hills/mountains it is a accident ready to happen if I attempt to drive, As it is I have move my car up to the road about 35 feet. I have a very steep driveway, My husband Jim usually does that, we pay the local kids to help shovel a path and dig out the car. All those in Chicago are having record breaking temps today, that includes all of my family, I have now lived in Virginia at two different locations for 13 years it is now the longest place I have lived since my childhood home. I hope to get back to California soon with my husband and see all of our old haunts. I meet him there.
This holiday season took me by surprise and I hate that rebounds from exciting adventures are longer as I get older, We spent two weeks in November in Hawaii, on Oahu. It great to have extended family living there. We saw every inch and have over a thousand pictures. I wish digital camera's were around years ago for other great trips I taken.

twelfth night, sauce is on the stove and next week I get another year older, where did all the time go?
Wow! what a winter!! Thank God there is Florida, I have lived in Florida, so it was nice to go back this cold and snowy winter. I will have been married 25 years this fall. How time flies when your having fun, well mostly. Last summer we took an Atlantic coast getaway, from Annapolis to Maine. We'll spend some time back in the Chicago land area visiting family this Spring or summer, wondering how our dogs will mesh with my sister's cat.
I hope spring arrives soon, looking forward to my deck garden, veggies are hard to plant with the limited sun from all the trees but my house plants and flowering plants usually do better but as the trees grow the deck feels more like a tree house and the leaves block the lake view. It's life in the mountains.
Bucket list items get back to California where we lived and another trip to Europe. Write a book, just enjoy the rest of life left that God grants me.
