Janet's Story
Life
My Spouse
I lived in Sacramento and the summer
before I graduated, my mom & dad wanted
me to visit their hometown in Iowa. I
was engaged to a guy in Sacramento and
my parents knew I would be getting
married the following year and wouldn't
want to take ant trips with them. So I
told them I would take this last
vacation with them before I got married.
Well while I was visiting this great
little small town of Clarinda, I met my
husband. We told each other we were just
going to be friends because he knew I
was engaged.....but we fell in love over
the two week vacation and I broke up
with my fiance and the rest is history.
We will celebrate our 38th Anniversary
in September 2001.
My Pets
I have a timneh African grey parrot. His
name is Dylan, he keeps me company while
my husband is at work. He is a great
talker and says such cute things.
Timneh's are one of the best talkers and
Dylan is living proof of that. He is
six years old and will live to be at
least 50 years old.
My kid's are already fighting over who
will get him when I ...Expand for more

My Kids
I have a beautiful daughter Debbie
age 36 and a handsome son Rick age 30.
I live in Iowa, my daughter, son-in-law
and granddaughter live in Minnesota. My
son and his wife live in Denver. So I
get to visit the beautiful state of
Colorado at least twice a year. I love
the mountains and all of the wonderfu
site's in Colorado. I have been there
for all four seasons and each one is
more breath taking then next. Whenever
I get a chance I fly out for a week or
two. My son always has a new place to
hike, a beautiful field of wildflowers
to show mom or a waterfall he has found
during one of his hike's. I love
Colorado and would move there in a
minute. But my husband doesn't share my
love of the mountains. So I must be
content to just visit Colorado.
I'm very proud of my kids, my daughter
is fortunate enough to be able to stay
home and be a full time mom. Her husband
has his own company, a Management
Consulting Firm in Bloomington.
My son works at Colorado Aerospace.
His wife is attends College in Denver.
