Janet's Story
Let's see - I went to the Univ of NH and then landed in the Boston area where I have been since high school-love it here.
What a year 2009 has been. I remarried Dec. 28th 2008, after being divorced 18 years. And yes, it is true, that we met on Match.co. My husband, Dimitrios, (aka "The Greek God") & I sold our previous homes and bought a condo- we were clearly sick of home and yard maintenance.
My daughter, Heather, is now 22- wow time flies - still living with us and still trying to figure out what to do with her life.
2009 began with the sudden loss of my 91 year old dad. This brought me to Rye for the first time in 5 years. I now look after my mom who requires 24 hour private care (but is at home) though she is failing rap...Expand for more
idy . I'm not liking this thing of managing two households,bills, caregivers, and so on and so forth. This leaves little time for myself and consequently (or obviously)I had to retire from my career as an Occupational Therapist to become a full time caregiver and manager of two households.
On the bright, my husband & I manage to travel often, most recently to Greece for 3 weeks. Loved the country but still did not learn any Greek. I don't like that alphabet - what is up with the Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, Phi thing? Never mind handing ME the map which is in Greek and asking me which way to go?
