Janet's Story
I lived in White Settlement from my 5th grade year until the second semester of 9th grade. I had so many people in my life it really made me sad to have to leave. My dad was in the Air Force and was stationed at Carswell AFB. So of course we moved around alot. When he retired my parents decided to more to Arkansas where my Grandpa lived so we could take care of him. Shortly after we moved here he died. Another sad time in my life. I had moved back I would not have met the wonderful husband that I am married to today. I have alot of fun and sad memories from Brewer Jr High School. But most of all I have all the good memories of all my friends I had there. My very best friend was Barbee Patterson. It was like losing a sister when I had to move away from her. I came back a couple of times to see her but it was during school hours and she wasn't at school neither time I came to see her. Sometimes I wish I could turn back the hands of time. I miss her so very much and always have.
