Janet's Story
My friends will remember me by being middle of the road. I loved to shop, boys, have fun and stay out of trouble.
I always wanted to be a nursery school teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a doable idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. The field did not pay well and two years after graduation I went to work for the Naval Inventory Control Point and have been there ever since.
I blow off steam by telling others what just happened.
Since I stayed out of trouble the wildest thing I prob. did was write notes on my eraser for a test. And, fell asleep during lectures.
My hero would be my mother. She wasn't strict when I was growing up, never hollered (like I do), wouldn't hound me, yet cared. She didn't tell me her troubles, never complained and never wanted me to worry. She taught me how to work and enjoy life. She taught me how to make a dollar go a mile and this has helped me afford the better things in life today.
When I got married in 1982 we lived in a duplex for 4 years in the N.E. and had our first child there. Then a row house for 12 yrs. and 2 more children. For the past 9 years we enjoy a big single in Chalfont that I never thought I'd have.
The people I'd like most to see again is the people I hung out with in high school.
I'm not into sports. I was never good at any. I like American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Bachelor, Biggest Loser etc. when I have the time.

part of my life.
My biggest surprise was to achieve the level I have. To have a husband, 3 healthy daughters, a son in law, grandchild on the way, everyone having an education, job, car and a nice roof over our heads.
To improve my home? Nothing. This is my dream home. Movie Theater, Game Room, Snack Bar, Managers Office, Full Size Popcorn Machine and much more. We are very thankful.
I've learned you have to listen to your children very carefully. They can slip in something very important in a conversaton that you may miss and sorry you didn't act on.
If I won $100 million I'd give back to the people/places that have helped me get a start in life. I'd share with my family and friends, throw a big party, quit work, travel and help the poor and sick.
I love work and rarely miss a day, just like when I attended school. I came to the gov't in a typing pool. Became a clerk typist, secretary, editorial asst, supv. and now work as a COL's and Civilian's assistant.
I don't know anything about my previous crushes.
I prob. dress plain like I did years ago. I love sweat shirts, T-shirts, sweat pants etc. but for work I wear suits most of the time.
The weirdest think I ever had to do at work was pick up a dirty tissue that a previous supv. told me to.
In 10 years I hope to be retired and enjoying life with my family and traveling as long as my health is good.
It's hard to keep up with old friends. Try to thru email.
What would surprise everyone at a reunion? How far I've come in life.
