Janet's Story
My Life:
After graduation in 1962 I worked as a secretary for engineers at North American Aviation (Rockwell) at the Atomics International Division in Santa Susana and Canoga Park, CA. In 1966 I transferred to Cape Kennedy Florida and was married. I worked at The Kennedy Space Center in Contracts Administration and left for a position of Executive Secretary to the General Manager of the Cape Kennedy Hilton Hotel. I returned to California in 1971 and re-married and worked as a Legal Secretary until my daughter Rebekah was born in 1974. My husband, Rex became a Minister and started a church and he was also a franchise dealer of a Mobil Service Station for 33 years. g for the Detectives, and me as a Secretary at a company in Anaheim. Age is taking its toll now but I have had a wonderful life and have a wonderful husband who spoils me terribly.
2009 is half gone and I was 65 in March (Yikes). Once I was young and now I am old - where have all the years gone, and still going, so quickly. My husband and I have decided to continue working part time for now. Guess we just wouldn't know what to do with idle time. We really can't travel because my mother lives with us, and I have 2 dogs. God has been very good to us as we have good health and I have never had any surgeries. I need to lose weight but that doesn't seem to happen with my love for junk food. Wishing everyone good health and the hope that you will find your own peace and subsequent blessings with God.
